Chu Han casually tore open the outer envelope with a rip as he slouched back in his chair, then read the letter right there.
He Feng watched the envelope beside him with his heart in his throat. Chu Han had nearly torn the letter inside while opening it. This guy really did not treat such things seriously at all—and the sheet of paper in his hand looked like it was about to be ripped apart!
The people who gradually filed in afterward were unsurprised by the sight and simply found seats. Chu Han being arrogant was perfectly normal. If he ever stopped acting that way, that would be truly strange.
"What did it say?" He Feng asked, suppressing his unease.
Chu Han raised his eyes and tossed the letter aside, his tone distinctly unpleasant. "It says the Strategic Department has already formulated the battle plan and wants the Alliance Army's fifteen generals to attend a meeting. If it's already been decided, what the hell is there to discuss?"
"They settled it so quickly? Isn't there still more than four months before the scheduled start of the war?" Liu Yuding asked in surprise.
He Feng, however, calmly explained, "The Alliance Army has a huge number of people. Once the war begins, they will need at least two months just to move into position. Under the current circumstances, helicopters cannot be arranged for transport, so there are really only four months left for supplies and regiment training combined."
Everyone present had a flicker in their eyes. It was indeed urgent. In other words, they only had a little over two months to prepare?
"For the battle plan to only be finalized now is already too late," Chu Han added. "There's no time left to determine each regiment's assignments or conduct targeted training.
