Chu Han steadied himself at once, then swung the Asura Battle Axe backhandedly, forcibly slicing through the enormous monster before him and charging out through the opening.

The slug let out a mocking sound. Its severed body slowly merged back together, recovering at an astonishing speed. It simply could not be cut apart!

Just when the battle seemed doomed to continue in an unsolvable cycle, crackling lightning suddenly flashed across the blade of the Asura Battle Axe. Then Chu Han shouted and charged in from behind, bringing the axe down viciously upon the slug monster.

Whoosh!

Lightning and thunder clung to the Asura Battle Axe. The strike instantly charred the slug black, while the downward chop destroyed its bodily functions altogether.

With two smacks, the two huge halves of its body fell to the ground, splashing strange liquid that carried a burnt stench.

The slug had been electrocuted to death and could no longer crawl.

Chu Han flicked the filth off the Asura Battle Axe with a backhanded swing. Rather than lowering his guard, he watched the other doors. Before long, a long roar came from one of the pitch-black doorways, as if issuing a challenge.

Chu Han immediately looked over, but before he could focus on what was there, a chill suddenly ran down his back.

A bloody wound appeared across his back, blood dripping from it.

Chu Han darted sideways, only then seeing a giant wolf standing where he had just been. It stood over two meters tall and had emerged soundlessly from another door.

At that moment, the creature in the roaring doorway finally emerged. It was more than twice the giant wolf's size, a beast with the features of both a lion and a tiger.
