No one knew how long had passed before Chu Han woke up, his entire body aching. He found that one hand was still gripping that strand of seagrass so tightly that his nails had cut into his flesh. This was the seabed at an unknown depth. With his feet planted on the fine sand below, he finally felt something solid beneath him and could steady himself.
Chu Han held onto a section of the seagrass and walked forward. Before long, he saw the enormous sea monster lying on the ground amid the darkness ahead. It seemed to have suffered grave injuries. The surrounding seawater was still tinged with blood, and its tail had been split cleanly into two, leaving a gruesome sight.
Moon Shadow Slash had dealt the first blow. Then, the undersea vortex grew ever more violent, tearing open its wounds until, after spinning at high speed without pause, it bled too much to be saved.
Chu Han circled around the colossal creature and continued onward. As he passed its head, he heard a sound. Looking back, he saw the giant sea monster had opened its eyes and was spewing seawater from its mouth, though its breath was faint and it was on the verge of death.
Chu Han swung the Asura Battle Axe backward and slashed one of its eyes.
Blood immediately splattered, tearing open the sea monster's eye socket. Looking at the Asura Battle Axe again, one could see a ring of black mist around it. That was Explosive Flame Slash.
Bang!
A muffled explosion sounded from within the sea monster's eye socket, shaking the inside of its entire head.
Chu Han retrieved the Asura Battle Axe and walked forward without looking back. The giant sea monster's breath vanished completely.
