The girl jumped in fright and hurriedly backed away several steps, staring at the person behind her with terror written across her face.

It was a young man, probably just over twenty. He was much sturdier than the girl, but he too had been worn down by the apocalypse. His eyes were lifeless, and his skin was sallow.

Seeing the fear in the girl's eyes, Zhang Feng could not bear it and softened his tone. "Zombies can sense heat. This foam blocks heat, so they can't detect us."
