The higher the Points climbed, the slower the increase became. Compared to the previous upgrades, earning a full hundred Points in one go this time was far more difficult.
"How long do I have to keep killing?" Chu Han listlessly swung his axe while watching the changes in Points on the Reforging System panel.
This was a chokepoint in a valley. Chu Han stood directly at a bend, where zombies came wave after wave. Each wave was limited in number and could not flood out all at once, creating an excellent geographical advantage.
Killing these Tier 1 and Tier 2 zombies was no different from chopping up rats for him. Not to mention that his rank already suppressed them by an entire tier. Chu Han only needed to repeat the same mechanical motions without exerting much effort.
"What a boring fight..." Chu Han yawned and continued swinging his axe indifferently.
There was no such thing as respecting one's opponent when facing zombies.
He killed the zombies one after another as his Points steadily increased. After slaughtering more than a hundred in one stretch, he finally had enough Points to upgrade again.
Silently adjusting the Asura Battle Axe's setting to four, Chu Han put away his axe and prepared to find another location. If he kept killing so mechanically, he was going to lose his mind.
Just as he searched for another spot, several unfamiliar auras faintly appeared along the road ahead, scattered across different locations.
Chu Han halted when he was ten meters away, then took another step forward and continued onward.
"Idiot!" someone in the darkness cursed inwardly. Then he gripped his weapon tightly, carefully timing his move. The moment Chu Han walked directly beneath his blade, he suddenly leaped out and viciously hacked down!
Sharp whistles tore through
