Chu Han paused in the middle of bandaging himself, his ink-black eyes narrowing sharply. Before him, a drop of liquid continued to fall. With a drip, it landed on the dust-covered floor, splashing up a tiny spray before merging into the ash.
It was a drop of blood—human blood, bright red.
Wang Cai's fur stood on end in fright, and Wang Cai could not help looking up first in terror.
On the overhead beam crouched two figures radiating immense pressure: a zombie and an Abomination!

The zombie was tearing apart and chewing on a human remnant in its hands, seemingly an arm. Each bite and chew produced horrifying sounds, along with blood that continuously dripped onto the floor.
The Abomination beside the zombie was wrapped up tightly like the others. Its scarlet eyes brimmed with amusement and curiosity as it stared unblinkingly at Wang Cai. "Interesting. A rabbit that can talk?"

Cold sweat instantly drenched Wang Cai, and a huge We're finished appeared across Wang Cai's face. Wang Cai was utterly terrified.
When had this Abomination and zombie arrived? How much of the conversation between Wang Cai and Chu Han had they heard? This was bad!
At that moment, Chu Han suddenly made a faint sound. As though his injured shoulder felt no pain at all, his arms gripped the Asura Battle Axe with practiced ease.
"So we're fighting already?" The Abomination's tone remained teasing as its gaze shifted from Wang Cai to Chu Han. It clicked its tongue in surprise. "Tsk, tsk! You're injured like this and still want to fight me? Do you really think you're invincible?"
