This was an unwinnable situation.

Because the entire Resonance System acted directly upon the fundamental energy that formed the universe, Hegg was unable to normally mobilize energy. He could not even open a Space Teleportation Channel.

This was not because Wang Hai had used a Spatial Interference Device, but was purely caused by chaotic energy fluctuations.

By the seventh minute, not a single Race-level Sixth Order individual in the entire area was still breathing. Only Hegg and seven Leader-class Seventh Order individuals remained.

Yet the resonance at the energy level continued. Even those Seventh Order individuals and Hegg could not prevent the energy within their bodies from constantly draining away.

The other six Seventh Order Leader-class individuals were doing relatively well. No matter what, holding on for a while longer would not be a problem.

But Douglas was different.

Already severely wounded and barely clinging to life, even having fallen unconscious, the energy remaining within their body was now exceedingly faint. They could not even repair their own body.

At this rate, Douglas would inevitably follow in the footsteps of those Race-level individuals in no more than two minutes.
