Seeing the footage transmitted before him, Sanhe Sen was beside himself with rage.
Just moments ago, he had realized that the enemy seemed to be deliberately compressing the screening fleet's formation, and the large-scale superweapon from earlier immediately came to mind, filling him with dread.
But by the time he was about to warn Paris not to fall for it, it was already too late.
Watching as ninety percent of the remaining warships in the screening fleet were swept up in that attack, Sanhe Sen cursed Paris's incompetence on the bridge, railing at him for failing to see through such a simple tactic, completely forgetting that he himself had only just realized it—and even
a little later than Paris had.
At the very least, Paris had already caught on and was ordering the fleet to disperse.
