Luo Yifang learned from Sykes that Monster God was believed to empower people and monsters, possibly explaining the recent surge in Dragon level threats. After leaving the Monster Association, he ordered Sword Demon to kill monsters before their growing power caused the world to collapse, while he continued searching for Misaka Sister.

• Okita Souji left Licenseless Rider alive after killing the Spiked Giant, and he searched the ruins for Genos before riding away with the parts he found.
• Okita Souji returned to Luo Yifang, who was preparing a large hotpot meal with 2b and waiting for Artoria and the others.
• Luo Yifang told Okita Souji that Sykes had little information, then recounted how she linked Monster God to the sudden rise in Dragon level monsters.
• Sykes explained that Monster God appeared through negative emotions and offered power in exchange for a deal, and suggested that someone chosen by it might reveal its nature.
• Luo Yifang released Sykes, revealed that he knew about her hidden Monster King Orochi, and left the Monster Association with Sword Demon.
