An announcement came over the Cruise Ship's broadcast system: the ship had entered International Waters, and there were still half an hour until the casino opened. Everyone was asked to get ready. The announcement was repeated twice.

Dong Xuebin woke up in the inner room where he had been sleeping. He checked the time, yawned, and got out of bed. With some difficulty, he dressed one-handed, slipped into his dress shoes, and pushed open the door. In the living room outside, Zhang Longjuan was already awake, smoking and chatting on the sofa. Two silver briefcases lay quietly beside her. Across from her sat the two sisters, Shen Xiaoyan and Shen Xiaomei. Dong Xuebin had no idea when they had returned, but judging by their expressions, they had probably completed most of their task and uncovered quite a few things aboard the Gambling Ship.
"Little Dong, you're awake?" Zhang Longjuan looked at him with a smile.
"Just woke up," Dong Xuebin said. "How did you sleep?"
