Night had fallen.
One in the morning.
Hong Kong was a place where every inch of land was worth a fortune. The houses and buildings along the streets were densely packed and generally not very tall. Even a tiny two-story building tucked away in some obscure corner dared to hang up a sign calling itself some kind of hotel, while any ten-meter storefront could call itself some kind of restaurant. Everywhere one looked was a dense maze of streets. It was rather beautiful, brightly lit, and unlike the Capital City, even at this hour there were still people on the road.
After walking for a few minutes, a hotel came into Dong Xuebin's view.
This was different from those little places with the word "hotel" hanging outside. It was quite large in scale, around a dozen stories high. Surrounded by one- and two-story buildings, it stood out prominently and looked rather grand.
A row of English words hung above the entrance.
Below them were the Chinese words: Yonghai Hotel.
Dong Xuebin looked up and knew he had found the place. He walked inside, putting on his large sunglasses as he did.
At this hour, hardly anyone was checking in. The lobby was empty, with only a few guests chatting in the lounge area and some staff members moving things around.

The staff member said blandly, "Sorry. We can't look that up."
