It was lunchtime.

Though the blow had not been severe, it had at least established his authority and diminished some of the aura Geng Xinke had gained from being the district mayor's younger brother. Now there was Wang Yuling. On his first day in office yesterday, she had taken leave and skipped the welcome banquet that evening.
