Noon.
Dong Family
It was too hot outside, so Dong Xuebin and Xu Yan did not go out. Instead, they called a restaurant and had dishes delivered, filling the table with a lavish spread.
"I said Big Sister Xu was paying, but you still rushed to pay."
"Hey, what difference does it make who pays? It wasn't much money anyway."
"You... Sit down already."
"Right, right, let's eat. Big Sister Xu, please."
"Come on, let Big Sister Xu toast you first. You're not driving this afternoon, right? Then bottoms up."
"No, no. You're my elder; I should be toasting you."
"No. Big Sister Xu has to toast the first glass. Come on, be decisive."
"Well... all right, I'll drink it. You can drink as much as you like."
After the meal, Dong Xuebin beat Big Sister Xu to clearing the table. When he turned around, he increased the airflow on the Window Air Conditioner and tested the vent with his hand before heading into the kitchen to wash the dishes. Once everything was clean, Dong Xuebin picked up a rag, wiped the water from his hands, tossed the rag aside, and walked out. Xu Yan was sitting on the living room sofa, gently stroking her own arm, seemingly feeling her skin with her fingertips.
Tilting her head, Xu Yan smiled at him. "Even now, Big Sister Xu can hardly believe it. I really do feel like I've gotten a year younger."
Dong Xuebin smiled. "I didn't expect the results to be this good either."
"How could 'good' possibly describe it? It's practically a miracle."
"Hehe, as long as you feel good about it. That proves I didn't learn those medical skills for nothing."
"The person who taught you massage... you might have met a miracle doctor."
"I think so too."
