Remember this!
One person?
He had infiltrated the tightly sealed research institute all by himself?
How was that possible? Zhong Lizhen had always assumed there were many of them.
After hearing Dong Xuebin's words, Zhong Lizhen simply did not believe him. "How did you get in?"
"I naturally have my ways." Dong Xuebin looked at her. "Shall we get out of here now?"
Zhong Lizhen steadied herself. "Wait a moment. I need tools to open the Fingerprint Lock. I'll have to dismantle a few machines."
Only Zhong Lizhen and Dong Xuebin remained in Isolation Room Number Two. David had already stopped breathing, lying motionless in a pool of blood.
Dong Xuebin said, "There's no need to make this so complicated. We can just contact the people outside."
Zhong Lizhen frowned. "Although they don't know David has already... but every time the isolation room door opens, at least one soldier stands guard outside."
"It's fine. As long as the door opens, things will no longer be up to them."
"You're alone. Why are you being so reckless? Even an outsider like me knows it's impossible to force our way out!"
"We'll run into them once we get outside anyway. Whether we meet them sooner or later makes no difference. It's all the same to me."
"No, that's too risky. Don't interfere. I'll find some tools and components. We should quietly open the door first."
Dong Xuebin said helplessly, "It doesn't need to be this complicated."
"Listen to me!" Zhong Lizhen said without room for argument.
"Professor Zhong," Dong Xuebin called out to her.
But Zhong Lizhen ignored him and quickly walked over to an unfamiliar instrument. In a few swift motions, she took it apart and removed several components.
Seeing this, Dong Xuebin could not say anything more. Sigh, his aunt-in-law
