Work was over.
Dong Xuebin came out of his office.
"Director Dong, heading home?" Han Fei asked with a grin.
"Yeah. You guys should head home early too," Dong Xuebin said.
Zhang Lili said, "It's fine. I'll finish up what I have on hand."
Li Hong and Han Fei had not finished their work either, so they did not leave yet. After all, they had only just taken office. They could not look too casual.
"Watch the time, everyone. Anything that comes up can be done tomorrow," Dong Xuebin said. He had never been a harsh leader and had always been considerate toward his subordinates.
Creak. The office door opened.
Luo Haiting came out carrying her bag as well.
Dong Xuebin turned around. "Director Luo, are you heading back too? Let's go together?"
"Sure, then I'll catch a ride with you." Luo Haiting smiled. "Actually, I still don't know the roads very well. I just got to the Capital City, and I can never tell east from west or north from south. I have no sense of direction."
Dong Xuebin laughed. "The roads in the Capital City are easy to recognize. They mostly run straight north and south. You'll get used to them after a couple of days. Come on, I'll take you home."
