With Yao Cui and the medical staff supporting him, Dong Xuebin got into the vehicle. He had originally said he was fine and didn't want to lie down, but unable to withstand everyone's urging, he obediently lay on the medical stretcher. His arm suddenly stung as a female nurse gave him an injection and hung an IV beside him. Another nurse rolled up his pant leg and quickly began treating the wounds on his leg. The earlier bandaging had only been temporary; the wounds still needed further disinfection, and some would even need stitches. That would have to wait until they got to the hospital.
