The sky was partly overcast, with barely any sun. Sunlight pierced through the clouds and fell hazily over Zhenshui County. A new day had begun.

The Alarm Clock rang noisily.
Dong Xuebin rolled over and slapped his phone twice, turning off the alarm. He opened his eyes, still full of sleepiness, and checked the time. It was eight o'clock. He smacked his forehead to wake himself up and did not dare go back to sleep. Sitting up in bed, he let out a breath and glanced at the computer on the Bedside Table. It was still on, though its monitor had been covered. Sigh... thinking about what had happened last night, Dong Xuebin was mortified all over. He had secretly taken out County Chief Jiang's bra, panties, stockings, and thermal underwear and spread them over the bed, only to be caught by her in the end. But when the video had started, Sister Jiang had certainly seen the things on the bed behind him. She just had not mentioned them at first. She only brought it up after Dong Xuebin had read a story for ten minutes, and by then it was already too late. Dong Xuebin only had
