It was over.
The Power of Time and Wealth had been running for nearly three years, and plenty of people had been cursing me for nearly three years too. If you counted my earlier books, quite a few of you had been cursing me for five or six years. But now that this book was finished, I saw so much positivity. Many of those who had cursed me before said they were reluctant to see it end and offered their blessings. Honestly, I never expected that. I thought a lot of people would keep cursing me to the bitter end. What a surprise. After writing urban novels for so many years, this was truly the first time I had felt so moved and emotional. My feelings were complicated. Thinking of all the criticism from before, it now somehow felt so endearing. And when I thought of the brothers and sisters who had followed me since my very first book, my heart felt indescribably full.
Thank you all for giving me such a wonderful gift and such heartfelt emotion.
My next book should still be an urban novel, still in my style. I'll take a month or two off, then get back in the fight after the New Year!
When the time comes, please keep encouraging me, supporting me, and cursing me!
No matter what, I love you all! Without your support, without everyone's criticism, no matter how well my books did, they would still be incomplete!
