Origin and Zhao Ji

La Riluo is described as a part split from Xi Yue and is strongly implied to share an origin with her elder sister, Zhao Ji. Qiu Tu later theorizes that Zhao Ji expelled “impurities” while reincarnating and re-cultivating, with those impurities becoming La Riluo; the precise truth remains unresolved. 58 608

Decades earlier, La Riluo and Zhao Ji fled from the Boundless Mind Sea’s Core Area to its Edge Area, evading pursuit before settling in the Northwest. Their relationship later deteriorated into repeated violent conflicts, though they remain emotionally and spiritually connected. 608 274

Descent into New Realm City

La Riluo cultivated a network of Believers in New Realm City and arranged a God Descent Ritual through Old Master Qin. She intended to manipulate Yan Chen into helping her descend into the real world, then eventually devour him; Yan Chen instead used a fusion formation to bind her soul to her descended body and prevent her return to the Boundless Mind Sea. 143 260

While trapped in the real world, she continued scheming against Yan Chen and knowingly used the traitorous Secretary Bai as an intelligence source. Her ability to share the senses of her Believers allowed her to uncover Bai Yu’s diary and piece together Yan Chen’s plans. 260

Fall and Revival

La Riluo escaped Yan Chen’s domain but was ambushed in the Boundless Mind Sea by Liu Xiongyuan, Ye Mingfeng, and Wang Hu. Her divine body crystallized, leaving her consciousness to wander New Realm City. 282 284
