Nature

Sword Qi is the cutting force manifested through sword arts and Sword Intent. It can be released from a sword, projected across long distances, or imbued into otherwise ordinary objects such as leaves. A cultivator's Sword Intent may be transformed directly into Sword Qi during an attack. 77 296

Its scale ranges from An Hao leaving a shallow mark on a tree with his first manifested Sword Qi to Gu An's stellar Sword Qi overwhelming a Wandering Immortal's battle formation. 77 244

A physical sword is not always required to produce Sword Qi.
