After discussing it, the group split into shifts, taking turns standing watch and resting.
Although, based on what they currently knew about the Swarm Kingdom, the Swarm would not attack them proactively, it never hurt to be cautious.

But Taros and Tais headed to the Hatching Area, waiting for an opportunity to steal a Bug Egg.
"Big Sister, didn't those newcomers refuse? Can the two of us really do this? What if the hatched larva runs off again?" Tais had many concerns, especially about the last point. If the larva escaped, there would be nothing they could do.
That was the one bad thing about the Swarm. Everything relied on Pheromones, yet neither of them could release Pheromones capable of commanding the Swarm themselves. They had to find ways to produce them, and after all these years, they had only found over a dozen types of Pheromones that could make specific Swarm members carry out simple commands.
Among the newcomers, one of the boys was extremely clever. If he could join them, perhaps they could explore and manufacture Pheromones capable of making all kinds of Swarm members obey commands.

The other party was far too cautious and softhearted.
They were merely mindless bugs.
"All I can say is that some tremendous change must truly have taken place in the Soul Master World, or even in the outside world." Taros could only speculate like this.
