Faced with the God King of Goodness's teasing, the God King of Evil was somewhat displeased. He snorted. "So what if a trace was taken? I'm still a God King, and I'm not much weaker than you!"
That was not untrue. The God King of Evil's cultivation was there for all to see; losing a portion of his authority would not weaken him by much—after all, his comprehension of the laws of the universe remained.
But before he had stepped down and passed his Divine Throne on to the successor he had chosen, having a trace of the authority representing "evil" divided away was rather humiliating and truly irritating!
In the past, the God King of Evil would have made his move long ago.
But times had changed. The God Realm of another spacetime had moved ahead of them... The Asura God King had already fallen, and the God Realm had lost control of the Five Elements Continent... The God Realm was in peril. They could no longer act as they pleased. They had to find a way to strengthen the God Realm; otherwise, it was entirely possible that the God Realm from the other spacetime would secretly sabotage them.
Strengthening the God Realm was now its sole objective. The solution proposed by the Four Great God Kings was to keep watch over the powerful figures among the one hundred and seven Planets under the God Realm's control who had reached level ninety-nine, and see whether they had a chance of breaking through to godhood and ascending to the God Realm.
Only by increasing the number of First-rank Deities, Second-rank Deities, and Third-rank Deities in the God Realm, continuously filling out the laws of the God Realm, could it gradually become complete and grow stronger...
