Taking a Day Off

Reader: Why are you taking so many breaks? And why are the chapters getting shorter?

Author: Because the serialization has been going on for too long, and my mental state is becoming increasingly worrying. When I sit in front of the computer, my head feels empty, like my soul has left my body. I can't feel my own emotions, nor can I feel the emotions of the characters, so it's hard to get into the zone.

Sometimes I can sit all day and not write a few words, but I still have to publish a chapter, so I end up just rushing to finish.

Taking a day off isn't really a complete rest; I have to build up a bit of a buffer.

I need at least a day or two of backlog to feel safe.

Otherwise, writing and posting at the same time, unexpected situations are bound to arise.

Reader: How are you planning the plot going forward?

Author: I've already written about the Northern Territory, the Central Continent, and the Southern Continent, so I need to touch on other places as well.

The chain reaction brought about by Mythical Industrialization is still being planned; I think there's a lot of content to write about in that area.

I also need to think about how to do the great civilization alliance and how to shape the glorious Ninth Era.

Only an era stronger than ever before has a chance to defeat powerful enemies. These things have to be reflected in the book, not just glossed over in a sentence.

Now that the Future Mirror has been successfully forged, it's not really a cliffhanger, so please forgive me for taking a day off.
