If things were really as Megani Rose said, then the war between Star Abyss and the societies had been utterly meaningless. It had simply been the result of slaves turning on their masters.
Morphedria had used civilizations as vessels, making them fight and devour one another like insects in a jar, selecting outstanding individuals to ascend into societies. On one hand, they fought the Destroyers; on the other, they claimed those monsters had formed later and dispatched God Samurai to slaughter them.
Tell me, if the societies gathered together and marched straight into Haynes, could that still be called an invasion?
No. This was merely the inevitable result of accumulated rage and hatred. Morphedria's death had drawn a close to it, and the revenge against Star Abyss should have ended there as well.
Yet even after that, the societies still chose not to spare Star Abyss.
They crossed the Combustion Element Sea and invaded Layer Abyss, then Realm Abyss, then the Void, pursuing the defeated and fleeing God Race Samurai coalition all the way to Nether Abyss. They had nearly reached Origin Abyss. During that time, could the societies' burning, killing, plundering, devouring, and consumption of other Star Abyss civilizations simply be ignored?
