Explosions rang out without end, echoing throughout the Realm Abyss.
The collapse of the divine kingdom was like lifting an exquisite, gorgeous piece of porcelain high overhead, then smashing it down hard. Amid the crisp crackling of shattering, waves of wails and screams mingled together.
The explosions did not cause much of a stir in the Real World, but if the people of the Realm Abyss looked up, they would see a dazzling bloom of color bursting forth in one corner of the otherwise unchanging starry sky.
Smack! Arthur's apostle was flung out from between dimensional cracks like a dead dog. Its body was shattered beyond recognition. More bizarrely, most of its wounds stretched into long patches of blurred gibberish like mosaics, too grotesque to look at directly.
The collapse of the divine kingdom also meant that Arthur's control over its own authority had weakened further. It struggled to crawl to its feet. Pale golden flames spread across the wilderness around it, while meteors streaked down from the sky and crashed heavily into the ground of the Realm Abyss.
The fragments of a divine kingdom would not vanish immediately. Once they landed, they would merge with the local environment. Over time, the industries and creatures within would form a unique ecosystem.
This was the origin of dungeons in the game Star Abyss.
The methods used by Qiqiao Network officials, including many famous NPCs, to generate dungeons were actually based on fragments of divine kingdoms. Unfortunately, while the raw materials for divine kingdom fragments were not rare, only the Source Abyss Civilization possessed the technology to refine those fragments, forge them, and implant them into divine kingdoms.
Arthur crawled across the ground with difficulty. At this point, its mission had completely failed.
"Lord Lioz... no, Li Aoz is very strong."
