As an Outland-born Heavenly Ring Person, Gretvor's appointment as Head of State was itself intended to sever the Heavenly Ring Republic from the Sky Ring Nation of its past. They had always sought to abandon unnecessary force.

When Gretvor first took office, he ordered the Red Fan Army to demolish every shrine and temple that had once glorified invading war criminals. He personally visited the victims of Sky Ring's past war crimes, offering substantial compensation and providing for every victim until their death.

They clearly documented history, repeatedly emphasizing the many war crimes committed by the Heavenly Ring People of the past against other nations, including anti-human massacres, human experimentation, and colonial plunder. Every citizen of the Heavenly Ring Republic was told from birth of the wrongs their ancestors had inflicted upon the world, and they had worked tirelessly to change their image until the entire world, including the Outland People, was willing to forgive them.

The previous generation was ultimately the previous generation. The people of this generation were not willing to endlessly perpetuate hatred. It was simply that some people had never believed they had done anything wrong.
