By the time Archer left, it was already late at night. Fettis came over to tidy the room. She picked up two slender wooden sticks and instinctively intended to throw them into the trash, but Li Aoz hurriedly stopped her. "Wait, those aren't trash."
"They aren't?" Fettis tilted her head and examined the two slender sticks. "My lord, what are these?"
"These are called 'zhu,' more commonly known as chopsticks. They're one of the various types of tableware used on Earth. They're a bit troublesome to learn, but far more elegant and convenient than the knives and forks we use in Star Abyss. Look—"
Li Aoz walked over with a smile, took the pair of chopsticks, and deftly picked up sesame balls, quail eggs, and even slippery taro balls. "Earthlings really do have marvelous things. These two little chopsticks contain profound philosophical and scientific thought. Among the millions upon billions of civilizations in Star Abyss, not one ever thought to make such convenient and nimble utensils."
"Chopsticks—entered into the archives. Fettis understands."
Fettis's eyes lit up, and she nodded.
"A seemingly simple utensil is actually proof of the enormous gulf between Earth and Star Abyss. Perhaps Star Abyss Civilization is inherently an inferior race, which is why it appears so weak when faced with the impact of Earth Culture and power."
Li Aoz set the chopsticks down and sighed. "Though I have never been to Earth, from the knowledge I have encountered and the descendants of Earth I have met, they truly are smarter, more civilized, and more powerful than us. Their food is better too. That is an established fact. How laughable. Earthlings are already so outstanding, so why do they keep expanding? Their own universe is hardly small, yet they still come to seize Star Abyss's living space."
