Ronan did not need Blood Demon to play along; he continued on his own, his voice growing louder. "The equipment's functions, the environment housing it, the subject of research, and the direction of research—if any two of those four had been done properly, things would not be this goddamn mess."
"..." Blood Demon finally laughed. "Little brother, your focus is a bit... unusual, huh?"

Ronan's pretentious old-man manner was genuinely rather comical, but he was probably aware of that himself. He quickly poked a finger back at his own chest.

On the Exhibition Stage, nearly everyone's gaze focused on Ronan, watching what seemed to be a sudden "inner monologue."
"After receiving the Emerald Light's invitation, I kept thinking that everyone aboard this ship was against me. They had come to the auction and bid around my Grandfather's laboratory. That was undoubtedly mockery toward me, or at the very least, they were accomplices of those enemies.
