Hairless Monkey himself did not care about this change. In fact, in his current muddled state, he remained focused only on the flesh and blood of the prey beneath him.
Eating was all he needed to do right now.
Yet even his feeding process became twisted amid the "abnormal"...
At first, he had used his teeth to tear into the prey, but at some point, every tooth in his mouth began falling out.
That was not all. What also fell away... or more precisely, separated, were the muscles needed to move his mouth.
Before that, of course, there was the facial skin covering the outside.
Very soon, his entire face, including every facial organ, separated.
At first, these fallen "parts" were still barely connected by blood vessels and nerves. But after only a few breaths, those connections also broke apart.
Later, even the bones pieced together into a skull came apart along their seams, leaving it full of gaps.
Yet this fellow was completely unaware of it!
Because even after his entire skull had been dismantled and separated, even as the brain that barely remained a whole began to twist, disorder, and churn with its writhing... he still maintained a basic systemic framework.
It was simply that what held these separated human body parts together was no longer the original life system made up of blood vessels, nerves, flesh, and bones, but strands of half-illusory "lines," faintly visible and indistinct. They echoed the chains of light surging across his body, like electric currents piercing the air under special conditions.
These half-illusory "electric light threads" seemed to possess a certain magnetic force and were capable of complex exchanges of energy and information.
Under their restraint, Hairless Monkey's disintegrating skull was still a continuously operating system, even though its mode of operation
