The Dark Heavy Chains trembled and chimed. Just as they had once controlled the Demon Rune, they followed a special lawful determinacy, permeating that subtle and complex magnetic structure, attaching themselves level by level and taking control.
That gradually awakening existence—let's call it "Magneto-Optical Mica" for now—instinctively rejected the situation. Yet in its newborn confusion, it had no idea how to resist. In the end, it allowed the Dark Heavy Chains to penetrate and lock it down layer by layer, forming a firm bond with Ronan.
Magneto-Optical Mica likely did not yet understand the meaning of that "bond." It merely followed its natural reactions, tracing that bond and projecting its unique probing tendrils back toward Ronan.
In that instant, the special observation pierced through the globe-spanning patches of fragmented cloud cover, through the projection path of the water-vapor avatar, and even through Ronan's original Form and Spirit Framework aboard the yacht in Slope City, striking directly at a deeper level that even Ronan himself did not fully understand.
