When the first Blood Light Thunder Hammer came hurtling down, he had already sensed the warning signs—but they were useless. Since he had chosen to pull the Space Fault aside and use it to bear the devastating power of the "Revelation Seven Seals," he was undoubtedly a living target at a time like this.
He could, of course, have imitated Ronan and defended himself, neutralizing the attack by distorting the Space-Time Structure.
But the truth was, he couldn't do it!
His intensely focused perception even allowed him to glimpse the peculiar structure at the front of the Blood Light Thunder Hammer. Though it had deformed somewhat under high-speed, high-energy conditions, Yabolun could still make out that it was a Rotten-Mouth Ape's viciously compressed head.

Before he could grasp what that meant, the Blood Light Thunder Hammer exploded.
Its penetrating force and explosive power were nothing remarkable. The Space Fault, reinforced by the "Revelation Seven Seals," still had considerable endurance.
What was truly terrifying was the violent shock that shook the surrounding void. The damage caused by the powerful shockwaves was secondary; what was fatal was that everything was warping and twisting. By the end, he could no longer tell whether it was the world around him that had distorted, or merely his own perception.
For a second or so, Yabolun completely lost the ability to make judgments through information and reason. He could only abandon perception altogether and rely purely on his keen Soul Sense. While dealing with the barrage of follow-up attacks, he struggled to maintain his lock on Ronan.
