"Is Earth really that insignificant?"
The Martial Emperor turned the question back on Ronan. "Professor Ronan, given your attainments in Space-Time Configuration, you should hardly lack observational methods. Do you truly think Earth Local Time-Space is insignificant at this stage?"
Guided by her question, Ronan could not help thinking of the multiple intertwined space-time structures here, the mysterious Mist Labyrinth, and the Abyss Sun Wheel hidden in the maze's deepest reaches—using the logical framework of Tian Yuan Common Language.
Ever since the two of them had begun conversing in Tian Yuan Common Language, there had been no going back. Ronan had to switch to this tool of thought.
There was simply no dedicated term like "Earth" over there, so they had to borrow one from this side. That made for a more direct comparison:
Earth, and the Central Star Region whose location remained unknown.
Ronan could not even be bothered with the Martial Emperor's sly counterquestion—he himself needed a reason to mobilize his brainpower at full capacity.
Since the Martial Emperor had opened the topic, he had received a flood of information about "taboos" and "divine script," allowing him to reexamine the world he had grown accustomed to, as well as the chaotic secrets still buried deep within the maze, from a new angle.
He had gained much, but it needed even more sorting out. Especially the information involving the distant outer void; there was simply no way to judge it.
After a round of complicated consideration, Ronan ultimately answered honestly:
"I don't know what standard defines whether something is 'significant' or not. In fact, I don't even know the distance between Earth and the Central Star Region. That is something I very much want to know."
As he spoke, Ronan's gaze fixed on the Martial Emperor, practically burning hot.
