Mountain Lord's reaction to the Justice Cult's series of operations in the Mental Ocean was somewhat stronger than expected.

The Justice Cult had always treated Ji City as an important stronghold, and it had inevitably had long-term dealings with Mountain Lord, who was active throughout Northeast Asia.
Personally, Lanier was not especially familiar with Mountain Lord, but they knew each other's backgrounds well enough, and both had higher thresholds of tolerance. Thus, he knew that Mountain Lord would never come all this way to demand an explanation simply because the Justice Cult's Abyss Zone Configuration system had empowered them from afar—this was nothing yet.

"You people are getting more and more outrageous," Mountain Lord still complained. "Even on the Mental Side, you can't go tossing things around like this."
"Please do not take offense, Mountain Lord. The Mental Ocean is full of strange phenomena. Who knows what we might run into?"
Li Taisheng seemingly did not wish to involve himself in the exchange between the two Extraordinary Species, and lowered his head as he headed outside.
