Those two character cards had sparked fierce bidding and ultimately sold for a sky-high price of nearly two billion, establishing the Ronan and His Friends Foundation and earning Ronan the fine reputation of "Soul-Reaping Card Master."
In the hearts of many in the Inner World, dying at Ronan's hands meant there was a very real chance of following in Gong Qi and Jin Tong's footsteps and becoming a new addition to those Soul-Binding Cards.
Well, in that sense, Joker had also blazed a new trail: he was probably the first guy to become the "face" of one of Ronan's Soul-Binding Cards while he was still alive.
