The high-powered engine rumbled as it drove the pontoon boat at breakneck speed over pale green waves. The cliffs on either side opened and closed in turns, crushing the airflow into a clear, rushing wind.
The cliffside forests were lush. Even sheer rock faces were covered in creeping vines and moss, an unbroken stretch of green. When he had caught Ronan handing over the scarf aboard the transport ship at the dock, Long Qi had been rather embarrassed. His first instinct had even been to end the stream.
