He did not need one anyway. Long Qi practically leaped out of the driver's seat. In fact, he really did leap up, until his head slammed into the cockpit canopy.
Not caring whether that impact might knock off the already not-so-sturdy canopy, Long Qi's mind was nearly consumed at that moment by the nightmare-like auditory hallucination of buzzing.
It came from memories of the past.

Mountain Lord still did not answer him.

Long Qi completely forgot that he was supposed to be the pilot. He propped himself up and turned to look into the rear cabin.
Mountain Lord had not raised his head at all. His arms... including that half of his left arm, rested on his knees. Blood flowed freely as he hung his head toward the cabin floor, utterly motionless.
At first, Long Qi thought he had passed out from excessive blood loss and a collapsed foundation.
