Space-time abilities were not Mora's forte. Constance was different; at least half of her title as the "Strongest Barrier Master" had been built on her space-time abilities.

Yet Constance said nothing, and it was hard to make out her expression beneath the shadow of her hood.

Mora asked again, "Connie?"

Constance still did not speak. She merely extended a hand, and a hazy, indistinguishable "bubble" appeared, like a Crystal Ball shimmering with five-colored light. In the next instant, however, the "Crystal Ball" collapsed.

Mora raised an eyebrow.

Only then did Constance speak, her tone calm but grave. "Space-time abilities have been sealed... or at least severely disrupted."

As she spoke, Constance lifted her head. Her hood fell away, but she paid it no mind, only adding softly,

"The Abyss Zone has a problem too."

"Oh?"

"...The 'platform' is unstable."

The "platform" Constance referred to was the "Abyss Zone Configuration" Ronan had described on many occasions. For a Mental Side Extraordinary Species like Constance, it naturally corresponded to a "Permanent Configuration."

For something like that to go wrong—and for her to tell Mora, a professional assassin—counted as a measure of trust.

Though more likely, no one had the leisure to think that much right now.

"What's going on?"

Mora was an atypical Body Cultivator. Most of her methods belonged to the Body Cultivator side, yet she was also a "spirit medium," a type generally found only among the Mental Side. However, she truly did not possess a "Permanent Abyss Zone Configuration," something only Mental Side Extraordinary Species seemed to have, so it was difficult for her to relate firsthand.
