The Obsidian Shard exploded, scattering dust everywhere. Ronan did not contain it in time, letting it form a small cloud of smoke as he watched with a frown.

Perhaps he had stared at it too long, but he began to make out an aged, distorted face within it.

His grandfather, Luo Yuandao.

Ronan paid attention to that nonsense, too.

He knew that much of it came from the unimaginable pressure his grandfather endured as a fulcrum for the Divine Cloak, linked to divine fragments such as the Blood Prison King in the Fog Maze's Core Radiation Zone. Some crucial information was actually hidden within it.

Previously, however, Ronan had mostly focused on specific terms such as "Cloak" and "Divine Kingdom." He had never imagined that, in such a virtual, dreamlike state, he would uncover similar howls from the insentient "local time-space."

The overlapping, recurrent streams of information that kept pressing toward him from "local time-space" really did seem to be "emphasizing" something.

It seemed particularly confused about the components of this dust, saying "mine" one moment and "not mine" the next.

There was an inexplicable urgency to distinguish between self and other—even a sense of fear.
