Ronan had never imagined that the Thought Star Cluster he had read about in historical and political texts from the eleventh millennium of the Calamity Era would appear before him in physical form, brushing against his fingertips. Really, if this was what awaited him after he broke through the Divine Cloak, he could have accepted a warning from the Martial Emperor even ten times harsher.
Perhaps the realm of the Thought Star Cluster was too distant, and the Divine Cloak shielded him. Though Ronan recognized their writing and recited their praises, neither the mechanical realm nor the power of its ultimate ruler descended across the void.
At nightfall, the Armored Airship landed on schedule at Huai City's airport. The journey had been uneventful.
Travel between major cities was not particularly frequent at this stage. But with only a few flights each day, nearly every airship was filled to capacity. Ronan and He Yueyin walked out with the bustling crowd. Thanks to their keen senses, they spotted Cat Eye in the arrivals area, lounging where anyone could easily overlook him.
