Aka Ge and Lao Pi spoke in low voices, temporarily leaving the evacuation party and coming together near a magma chamber. They took out a sealed box fixed there. This was precisely the "Transfer Point" Ronan had already detected—when Aka Ge had previously interfered with the Abyss Zone and triggered the force of Abyss Turbulence, he had first injected it into this box, then output it after some kind of conversion, finally receiving it himself.
It seemed like an unnecessary extra step, but considering the Abyss Zone's surveillance, perhaps it was the crystallized result of their experience in the struggle?
With the box in hand, Aka Ge wasted no time. He took something resembling a needleless syringe from his pocket, connected it to a dedicated port on the side of the sealed box, tightened it, then lightly tapped the bottom of the cylinder and injected its contents into the box. After waiting a few seconds, he shook it again. Once he confirmed everything was in order, he tossed the sealed box through a prepared fissure into the "magma chamber," burning and detonating it.
The syringe probably contained something like strong acid, while the box apparently held explosives as well.
Tsk. Judging by that method of disposal, he really did seem experienced in the struggle.
Ronan sent the lizard nearby, originally intending to probe the true nature of the "Transfer Point." He had not expected Aka Ge to dispose of it so cleanly and decisively. Even if he now sent the lizard rushing into the magma, it would probably be difficult to dig up anything valuable.
Still, Ronan wanted to give it a try. The more thoroughly it was dealt with, the more it proved that the secret inside the sealed box was immensely valuable.
