Tang Li tossed the gun back to Wang Peilie, then raised an eyebrow at Lang Jin, the meaning unclear.

Lang Jin forced a smile, but inwardly he was thinking: Was there even a single truthful sentence out of this man's mouth?

Well, there had been some truths. He really was not a screenwriter... He was not merely a screenwriter, either. He was also the director and an actor!

He controlled the entire stage—not just his own side, but the enemy camp as well.

Though where was there any "enemy" or "ally" now? They were all merely puppets on his strings.

Yet the simple truth lay hidden beneath that mistaken conclusion.

They were not enemies. They were "partners"!

The question was, what were this great director and his "partner" trying to accomplish?

From the current situation, this brought no benefit to either Tang Li or Pawa.

Pawa
