After only two or three days, Ronan had already developed a certain reliance on the "Cloak" app.

But Ronan could not be blamed entirely. The more deeply he came to understand this spacetime, the more he realized how many pieces were missing from its information puzzle. Investigating clues and uncovering facts based solely on what he knew was simply too difficult. Especially when it came to suspected reincarnated great powers like the Martial Emperor and those connected to him, there was still more speculation than certainty.

Rather than making wild guesses, it was better to directly trade "magic" blows—you practiced Secretism, and he performed wish-granting rituals. Maybe they would happen to collide?

At the very least, it could provide a point of reference.

Ronan now knew that the Cloak app's so-called "wish fulfillment" was the kind that handled the killing but not the burial. It could indeed give an answer, but not necessarily the one you expected.

So far, Ronan had made two "wishes." The first, concerning Old Ayers's location, had been quite good. But for the second wish, regarding Father Luo Zhongheng's whereabouts, it had only produced an image of an "Illusory Starry Sky" and what seemed to be Dream Net.

As for where Luo Zhongheng was, whether he was alive or dead, there was no reliable answer at all.

Cloak had not truly fulfilled Ronan's wish, yet he still approved of it. At least it had provided entirely new leads and crucial intelligence, giving his later search a direction... Most importantly, it had let Ronan see how it operated and where its limits lay.

At least for now, it was something Ronan could understand. And if he could understand it, he could control it.

What was more, growing evidence showed that the Cloak app was far less alienated
