The Martial Emperor seemed to ask a question, yet answered it herself.
However, there was quite a lot of information packed into those words. Ronan only half understood, so he picked out what he did not understand and asked one question at a time. "What Father-Son Cannibalism?"
"Mm, Eunuch Lord and his son, I suppose."
"Eunuch Lord? His son?" The moment Ronan heard "Eunuch Lord," he instinctively tensed. But then he thought of "his son" and grew confused again. "When did that happen? Didn't Eunuch Lord's sons all die in the early days of the Calamity Era? It was hard to say whether the Dream Divine Abomination had even awakened by then."

"I'll believe you for now. But I can't answer that objection of yours. I know virtually none of the details from that time, and my information source never mentioned them."
"Information source?" Ronan caught another key phrase.
The Martial Emperor did not respond to that minor detail and continued directly. "My information source only
