Ronan's voice boomed out, instantly covering the small bay before spreading farther, reaching every area above the cliffs and beneath the sea. Before the Justice Chief Priest could respond, Liu Jia's startled voice came through the wristband first:
"Mister Luo, you..."
Liu Jia was clearly a little stunned. Only then did Ronan remember that he had been speaking with Liu Jia just moments ago and had forgotten to hang up when he exerted his power. Clearly, Liu Jia had temporarily extended the call to report intelligence. That was it, yes, exactly!
Ronan coughed. "I need to meet with the Justice Chief Priest. We'll talk later..."
With that, he ended the call.
Just as he completed the motion, black-and-white light shot into the sky beyond the bay, roughly twenty kilometers from Ronan. The white light was one thing, but the black beam—something that should never have appeared in nature—was especially conspicuous in these gloomy waters.
Ronan raised his brows. Wasn't that the signature light of the Balance of Truth's Black-and-White Balance Pan?
Clearly, the Justice Chief Priest was showing him the way.
However, after those two beams shot skyward, they seemed to be rapidly moving farther out to sea...
Well, that was normal enough.
If they had not moved, they might have just been twisted together by the Magneto-Optical Mica.
Moreover, this matched the complicated conflict he had sensed earlier, as well as the intelligence Liu Jia had provided—this stretch of sea contained two Extraordinary-level Aberrant Species groups, Serpent's Nest and Arrow Rain, along with an Extraordinary Aberrant Species of uncertain identity.
At this stage, the Justice Chief Priest should have been entangled by that Extraordinary Aberrant Species and could not readily free her hands.
In that case, he would just head over.
Missing their scheduled meeting due to force majeure—Ronan
