Mo City's sky darkened.
Weismann instinctively looked up and inexplicably felt the sky receding from him, growing ever deeper. Correspondingly, he was shrinking. The area around him, the city, the continent and planet that bore it all became exceptionally tiny.
Or perhaps his perspective had changed—been torn apart. Part of it had been forcibly dragged to a height that did not belong to him, looking down on the planet where he stood and the supposedly vast, boundless star system, cutting complex spiral lines through it as it advanced toward the unbounded depths of space.
The stars around him were not the ones he knew. In fact, this was nothing like looking at star charts or related videos. It was an especially vivid, close-range experience, one that seemed almost within his grasp.

Weismann abruptly came to his senses and instinctively gathered his aura, his perspective returning to the Real World.
Yet reality was also steeped in Dark Seclusion. Mo City had only just entered morning, yet it had sunk back into night.
Beside him, Ronan turned and smiled at him. "So the captain is an astronomy enthusiast. We can talk more later."
Weismann's expression remained unchanged
