There were no other sounds in the "Womb Chamber," only Bat Master's breathing and that muddled noise Ronan had interpreted as "hungry."
Ronan pressed a hand against the sealing stone. Liu Jia and Bai Hao both tensed, body and mind, following his movement.
Then Ronan suddenly turned back. "There's no one else here. You two should move farther away too."
Liu Jia froze, calling, "Mister Luo," but could not continue.
Ronan turned away again and merely waved his hand.
Bai Hao sighed beside him, then retreated. Helpless, Liu Jia could only back away as well.
Ronan's voice followed them. "Farther. Better yet, withdraw to the Pillar Hall... no, outside the temple. There are still some people inside. Have them leave too."
"We'll follow Mister Luo's arrangements."
Bai Hao was truly swift and decisive, vanishing directly from sight. Liu Jia seemed to want to say something, but in the end, he only sighed and withdrew from the "Pillar Hall."
