Ronan stared blankly for a moment, then laughed.

What else could he do besides laugh? Point at the "Cloak" app interface and curse it out, or burst into tears?

After that laugh, most of the anxiety and irritability in his heart faded away. He watched as the two "Sub-options" were completely erased, along with their descriptions, restoring the first-level interface: three boxes—"What is Sought," "What is Understood," and "What is Prepared"—side by side.

Then he would just choose again. Dear Father had worked so hard to leave this thing behind; he couldn't have made it just to toy with him.

So Ronan tapped the "What is Prepared" option again. This time, it responded quickly.

The entire interface darkened, somewhat resembling the "Chat Window" format on the main interface or the "What is Sought" interface. But upon closer inspection, dim trails of flowing light formed a vague, indistinct framework within the Dark Seclusion background.

For anyone else, it truly would have been too blurry to make out.

But Ronan found the framework's structure extremely familiar. Wasn't it the format of the help forum on the "Credit Reserve" interface?

Only, even straining his eyes now, he could not make out the text on it. It could only serve as a background wall. Yet that seemed to suggest that the new interface shared an underlying core with the previous "Credit Reserve" one. After all, the "Credit Rating" beside it had been erased. From the standpoint of clean design, there was no need to retain the Sub-options structure...

And with that, the formats of "What is Sought," "What is Understood," and "What is Prepared" were unified as well.
