But then he drifted off for a while. In truth, he was flipping through notes in "Inner Earth"—the information and unresolved questions he had sorted out after speaking with the Martial Emperor at the end of last month. Ronan had originally hoped to use this "meeting in real life" to get as many answers as possible, but after several rounds of nuclear strikes, plus the whole "Balance of Truth" affair, that plan had basically fallen through.
