"You have similar abilities?"
This time, Bifur reacted swiftly and sharply. "Platform" Contact Persons rarely engaged in this sort of self-promotion. Clearly, she was deliberately extending the topic, hoping to continue the discussion with him in greater depth.
At times like this, suitably elevating the other party made it easier to gauge their true level.
Sure enough, the Contact Person gave an answer. "We have similar hypotheses, but we have yet to develop any related abilities. Otherwise, we would not need to secure the corresponding technical support through shares in the 'Deep Blue World.'"
"Is that all?"
"Of course, we also hope to use that technical support to further verify our hypotheses."
The answer was somewhat vague, but Bifur had gained something from it. After a brief silence, he suddenly asked:
"Does this have anything to do with what you mentioned last time—the connection and tacit understanding between Liang Lu and the 'Abyssal Sea True God'?"
The question came out of nowhere. The Contact Person was clearly taken aback, and her gaze sharpened markedly as she stared at him. "Why do you think that?"
Bifur gave a dry chuckle. "It's the only piece of information I know that can be linked to both you and the 'Abyssal Sea True God.'"
The contact person sighed. "I see." Then she smiled again. "That was my mistake. Please forgive me, but I cannot reveal any more. However, if Mr. Bifur can become a Great Monarch, raise your permissions on the 'platform,' and pay the appropriate price, we would be more than happy to share this secret with you."
Bifur summoned his nephew's face, his smile all skin and no warmth. "Then thank you in advance."
Though he said that, by this point the other side had effectively revealed part of the information.
