Lan Zhen was quickly defeated by Tai Yu's mode of thinking.
He could actually understand a little of it. At the very least, he knew that Tai Yu was using some kind of "Holistic Spacetime Architecture" as a foundation for subsequent deductions. But exactly how he did it was already beyond the scope of Lan Zhen's knowledge and abilities.
What was more, this was highly connected to the incident of "Tai Yu manipulating Myriad Transformations Deep Blue with his bare hands." No matter how technically inclined Lan Zhen was, when his life and livelihood were at stake, he still needed to back off when it was time to back off.
Just as Pool Six was about to fall quiet again, Farul, who had been silent for a long time, suddenly spoke. "You mean what Pool Seven presents is a past spacetime node that you reverse-engineered?"
Tai Yu shook his head. "More than two thousand people, each cultivating differently and entering battle at different times. One node can't possibly encompass all that. So it isn't reverse engineering, just a hypothesis... a vague hypothesis."
As he spoke, he bared his teeth in a grin at Farul.
The latter remained unmoved, his glossy black pupils fixed on him. "Then what about Pool Six?"
"This?" Tai Yu turned his gaze toward it. Light shone down from the ceiling, and Myriad Transformations Deep Blue surged within the pool, glinting with cold, fragmented light. He smiled again. "This is naturally the real version, but I want to make it a little more abstract."
Tai Yu's wording was somewhat vague, but Farul did not press further and fell silent again.
Lan Zhen, meanwhile, gained a deeper understanding of Tai Yu's meaning. Tai Yu's earlier act of "forcibly seizing Myriad Transformations Deep Blue" had actually accomplished two things:
